Get to Know Cassie:
I would describe myself as an optimistic, friendly, and a compassionate person.
I saw a poster for the Cubs auditions last year and I was immediately intrigued because I wanted to continue dancing throughout university but more specifically I wanted to grow as a dancer. The Cubs dance team looked welcoming, professional, fun and challenging so it seemed like the perfect opportunity for me. I danced at a small studio from ages 12 to 14, and then moved to a bigger studio from ages 15-17 and started dancing competitively. I stopped dancing for a year after I graduated high school and then I discovered the Cubs! The best part about game days, for me, is stepping out onto the court at halftime and performing the dances we work so hard on, it’s the best feeling to just go out there and know you and your team danced really well and kept the crowd entertained!
I am in my first year of Criminal Justice and I see myself either working as a parole officer, lawyer or a forensic analyst!
